This page lets you specify the settings for the SQL (DB2, Oracle, Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Access) PC database settings.

By default, the database connection is configured for "System" authentication (with no user name or password required for the login procedure).

During the validation process, if the database exists but the system connection is rejected, the wizard can display a dialog box requesting the database login details (i.e. user name and password).

Data entry

Server name

The combo box shows the detected Windows servers.

Select the server that you want to use for the specified DBMS.

Database

The combo box shows the databases detected on the server. As this detection process involves a connection, the user can request additional connection details (connection port, user name and password) when the page opens (before it is validated).
