With Adelia Web Studio, you can access the Dreamweaver® layout manager from Macromedia®.
The Dreamweaver layout manager enables you to design the web pages for Adelia Web programs created in Adelia Studio.
Consequently, the Dreamweaver interface includes new elements inherent to Adelia.
These elements are as follows:
- property inspectors for Adelia tags,
- a floating panel for inserting objects linked to the LDM,
- a floating panel for displaying errors,
- a reference document for Adelia tags.
All these elements are described in the corresponding topics.
Access
To access the Dreamweaver® layout manager, select Edit the page option in the context-sensitive menu of a PAGE block in the tree view of an active WADELIA program in the 4GL Editor.
The layout corresponding to the PAGE block is opened.

Note: Before the Dreamweaver® layout manager starts, a window may display, informing you that Adelia is to install (or reinstall) the Adelia Web Studio plug-in for Dreamweaver®. This occurs if the plug-in is not already installed in your machine, or if its version does not suit the Adelia Studio version that is being used.
