Access
To access this window, choose the Commit option in the source code repository management menu in the 4GL editor repository or Object manager.
This option saves changes in progress in the source control manager associated with the repository.
NB: if you select objects which are not synchronized between the repository and Adelia environment, the commit will consider the environment version as the reference version.
A modified object or one which is only present in the environment will be exported automatically. Similarly, an object only present in the repository will be deleted before committing.
Input fields
Message
Message describing the commit. This field is mandatory.
NB: the dialog box automatically proposes the last message used. A recent message can be selected using the context-sensitive menu in the message field.
List
List of objects
Show list of modified objects. Only the checked objects will be included in the commit.

Show all objects
This option shows all the Adelia repository's committable objects. The objects shown when the dialog box opens are preselected for commit.
NB: for performance reasons, the Adelia repository is not fully analysed here. An object change performed in the Adelia repository but not the source code repository (no automatic export or deletion, object received via exchanges, etc.) will not appear via this option.
Amend latest commit
Changes the latest revision in the source control manager (message change, additional files) instead of creating a new revision. Only available with Git.
Buttons
OK
Triggers the commit. If no object is selected, confirmation will be required (creation of a revision containing a message only).
This option is only available if the commit message is specified.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without making changes.
