Warning: This topic does not affect the C generator.

You must transfer several objects generated by Adelia. You must therefore create a library in which to store all these objects.

List of objects generated by Adelia:

  • The screen images:

    • DSPF files.

  • The printer files:

    • PRTF files.

  • The programs:

    • PGM (RPG with or without SQL).

  • The database files:

    • PF files.

    • LF files.

  • The error messages:

    • MSGF (the name of the file to be used is defined in the generation standards).

  • The data areas in HA#USER (for the end user).

If the documentation was entered via SEU or via the Document editor:

  • The file with the help sources:

    • the name of the file to be used is defined at environment level.

You can also transfer the generated sources (3GL and DDS).

The name of the source files is defined in the environment.

Additionally, you must transfer several Adelia objects necessary to make the product run on a site without Adelia. All these objects are stored in the HA#XRUN library. This library must appear in the library list (behind the library containing the program objects).

Use the IBM SAVLIB command to save the libraries to be transferred.

Use the IBM RSTLIB command to restore the libraries on the other site.

Important note: If you entered your documentation with the help of Office/Vision 400, you must save all documents that pertain to the data entered by using the SAVDLO IBM command. To restore the documents on the other site, use the RSTDLO IBM command.
