To place on the screen the repository variables which were previously stored in the report album, choose the Place - Variables option from the Edit menu of the Report layout manager.

List of all the variables gathered in the report album.
Select the variables to be placed on the report. If several variables are selected, they will be placed in turn, according to their sequence in the list.

Depending on the radio buttons checked, the variable will be placed:
alone, without a description;
with its description placed before it;
with its column heading placed above.

Place (validation)
This button places the selected variables on the report.
When all the selected variables have been placed, the dialog box is automatically reopened, in order to select other variables to be placed, if any.
If the location selected to place the variable (and, possibly, its description or its column heading) is not correct, the system will reject this placing.
The variables newly placed have their "Placed" column checked.
This button is not active when no variable is selected in the list.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the placing.
