Access

To open the dialog box for modifying the prompt program call parameters for the main property, select the Modify call parameters option in a logical property's contextual menu in the program definition window - "List" or "Form" tabs, in the RAD wizard.

 

Data displayed

Program

Name of the prompt program.

If this program does not yet exist, but will be created with the initial data for a future RAD development, the name of the entity used as a prompt is given.

 

List

Program's call parameters

The following information is specified for each parameter:

    • Its call order number.
    • Its name:

Either a guide word associated with a logical property, a dictionary constant, or a work variable name which can be modified by clicking on it.

By default, this name is the guide word of the logical property with the same definition as the parameter (type, length, number of decimal places).

    • Its type.
    • Its length.
    • Its number of decimal places, if it is numerical.

Context-sensitive menus

File variables

Opens a dialog box used to select an associated guide word from those of the logical properties with the same definition (type, length, number of decimal places) as the selected parameter. These logical properties are issued from the logical entities managed in the RAD wizard.

 

Dictionary constants

Opens a dialog box used to select a dictionary constant from those whose value is compatible with the parameter's definition (type, length, number of decimal places).

 

Buttons

Modify

Validates modifications on the program's parameters and closes the dialog box.

 

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without validating the selection.
