The principle will be to associate one or more JIRA requests with an Adelia correction. When the correction changes status, it will be possible to automatically change the status of the JIRA request by finding a transition which will take us to the chosen status.

For example, when validating an Adelia correction, the user can automatically "Process the request" in the associated JIRA requests.

These configured transitions may be different according to the environments, in the case of a cascaded correction manager.

Example:

If there are two "ACCEPTANCE" and "PRODUCTION" managers, it is possible to configure the "ACCEPTANCE" manager so that a request validation corresponds to an "In acceptance testing" status in the JIRA database while validation in the "PRODUCTION" environment would automatically close the request.

The JIRA plugin contributes to the correction manager by adding new elements to the interface and the menus:

List

JIRA requests

This column presents the JIRA requests associated with the corrections.

Menus

Manage the associated JIRA requests

This option is available in the correction manager main menu and in the context-sensitive menu for the corrections displayed in the list.

It allows to manage the JIRA requests associated with a correction.

Suspend JIRA validation

Box checked

The JIRA actions are disabled during correction validation. The effect is temporary as the option is unchecked when starting up the correction manager.

This option is only available if the user has the correction manager administration rights.

A section regarding the JIRA requests associated with the corrections is also available in the dialog box used to define a correction:

Data displayed

Associated with requests

Displays the names of the JIRA requests associated with the selected correction.

Button

Manage

Displays a "Repository"-type selection box for associating requests with a correction.
